At Ephrem Project, our goal is to draw hearts closer to Christ through original, faith-filled music. Inspired by Ephrem of Edessa, known as “the harp of the Holy Spirit”, we craft songs that celebrate devotion, worship, and the timeless truths of the Christian faith.
Our music is offered as a gift of worship and encouragement to believers around the world. We believe that Christ-centered music has the power to inspire, unite, and bring hope, connecting listeners across cultures and generations.

The Ephrem Project began its journey in 1975 as the Ephrem Singers, a vibrant and diverse ensemble of 60 voices based in Flint, Michigan. Rooted in both Catholic and Christian musical traditions, the group quickly became a beloved presence in the Maronite Catholic community, bringing ancient Syriac chants and contemporary sacred music to life. Through their harmonies and devotion, the Ephrem Singers united believers of different backgrounds, creating a shared space where faith and music met in profound harmony.
As the vision of the ensemble grew, so did its reach and purpose. Embracing new expressions of worship and a broader mission, the Ephrem Singers transformed into the Ephrem Project—a name that honors its rich heritage while reflecting a forward-looking approach to faith-inspired music.
Today, the Ephrem Project bridges tradition and innovation. Guided by the group’s compositions and enhanced by contemporary arrangements, the Project continues to honor its roots while exploring new ways to inspire and connect believers worldwide. Every song is crafted to uplift, encourage, and draw listeners closer to Christ, offering a timeless message of devotion in both familiar and fresh musical forms.
